Coweta County Approves $122K Upgrade for Life-Saving Emergency Defibrillators
#wqeb973newz | Newnan,GA-🚑❤️ COWETA COUNTY INVESTS IN LIFE-SAVING TECHNOLOGY ❤️🚑
Coweta County leaders have approved more than $122,000 to replace dozens of automated external defibrillators (AEDs) used by the county’s fire department and emergency services. 🔥🏥
The county will replace 50 AED units with upgraded cellular-based devices designed to improve reliability and emergency response capabilities. 📡⚡
Officials say some current AEDs are located in areas without Wi-Fi, making maintenance and remote inspections difficult. The new technology will allow crews to monitor devices remotely and ensure they’re always ready during emergencies. ✅
The project also includes a special trade-in program that gives the county credits for older devices before the June 1 deadline. 💰
County officials say the investment is all about improving public safety and making sure first responders have dependable equipment when every second counts. ⏱️🚨
