The café team at McClure Health Science High School received the 2026 Cafeteria Award of Excellence from the Georgia Department of Education School Nutrition Division.

Led by Marry Ann Sobremonte, the team was honored for its work providing school nutrition to students.

The recognition also included Gwinnett County Public Schools School Nutrition Operations Coordinator Angela Nottingham, Executive Director Ken Yant, Deputy Superintendent Dr. Linette Dodson and Georgia State School Superintendent Richard Woods.
