Jhené Aiko Earns Her First No. 1 Album With ‘Westside Whimsy’

#WQEB973NEWZ | Los Angeles,CA-Jhené Aiko has reached a major career milestone with her new album Westside Whimsy debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.

The album earned 74,000 equivalent album units in its first week, according to Luminate, giving Aiko her first No. 1 album on the chart.

Westside Whimsy is also the first R&B album by a woman to top the Billboard 200 in 2026. The project features collaborations with Kendrick Lamar, Ab-Soul, Larry June, Ohma and Tyga.

The album marks Aiko’s first full-length studio project since 2020’s Chilombo, which peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200.
