#wqeb973newz |SMYRNA,GA-🚨❤️ SMYRNA CONSIDERS ADDING MORE LIFE-SAVING DEFIBRILLATORS ACROSS THE CITY!
The Smyrna City Council is considering purchasing 25 new automated external defibrillators (AEDs) to help save lives during sudden cardiac emergencies.
🚑 The plan includes 21 AEDs at public locations and four for the Smyrna Fire Department. Proposed locations include Jonquil Park, Brinkley Park, Village Green, the Reed House, and New Tolleson Pool.
❤️ According to the American Heart Association, every minute without defibrillation can reduce survival chances by up to 10%. City officials say expanding access to these devices could help improve emergency response and save more lives.
📍 The proposal still needs city council approval.
