Piedmont Healthcare is working to improve access to specialized cancer care and expand research opportunities across Georgia! 💙

According to WSB-TV, Piedmont has expanded clinical research from two hospitals to nine and hired six new research staff over the past year, with support from its Piedmont Oncology Luminaria gala.

The healthcare system has also added more than 50 oncology-related physicians over the past two years and cares for more than 14,000 newly diagnosed cancer patients annually.

Funds raised through the annual gala help support research, early cancer detection, and efforts to reduce the burden of treatment costs and side effects for patients. 🎗️👏
