Armed Intruder Sought After SWAT Response at Powder Springs Home 

#wqeb973newz | Powder Springs,GA-A large police presence descended on a Powder Springs neighborhood Friday morning after a homeowner reported seeing an armed intruder inside their home through a Ring doorbell camera. 🚨🏠

According to the Powder Springs Police Department, officers responded around 3:30 a.m. near Marietta Street and New Macland Road. The suspect fled before police arrived, prompting authorities to call in the Cobb County Police Department SWAT Team out of an abundance of caution.

Police say no one was injured, and the suspect remains at large. Officials described the incident as highly unusual for the community and say they are using every available resource to identify and locate the individual.
