Lawrenceville officials unanimously approved plans for a new Costco along Highway 316, but nearby residents are already raising concerns about increased traffic. 🚗💨

The project is expected to bring about 7,000 vehicle trips per day, with plans for turn lanes, signal changes and a new connector road to help manage congestion.

Costco is expected to include a 158,000-square-foot warehouse, 854 parking spaces and a gas station. 🛍️⛽

The city says Costco will pay for the connector road, while the city will make additional traffic improvements. Construction timing is still pending as Costco works to acquire the property.
