#wqeb973newz | Atlanta,GA-Big changes are coming to South DeKalb. 🏗️🛒 Officials are breaking ground on the nearly $30 million Candler Crossing development along Candler Road near Glenwood Road. The 26-acre project will feature a 50,000-square-foot Publix, additional retail space, walking trails, green space, pedestrian improvements, and a renovated MARTA bus stop. Leaders say the development will create more than 100 construction jobs and 183 permanent positions while also offering affordable retail space for local businesses. The first tenants are expected to move in by October 2027.
