#wqeb973newz | Cedartown,GA-🚨📞 EMERGENCY PHONE OUTAGE IN NORTH GEORGIA 📞🚨

Officials say a telephone outage has temporarily taken Polk County’s 911 system offline, forcing all emergency calls to be rerouted through neighboring Bartow County.

Polk County E-911 announced the issue Sunday morning, telling residents that while they can still dial 911, their calls will currently be answered by Bartow County dispatchers as crews work to resolve the outage. ⚠️

At this time, there is no estimated timeline for when service will be fully restored.

Officials are asking residents to remain patient and use the following emergency numbers if needed:
📱 770-387-5195
📱 678-988-6262
📱 770-652-3439

Authorities say emergency services are still operating, but delays may occur while the outage continues. 🚔🚑🚒
