Driver Crashes Into Multiple Vehicles While Rushing Shooting Victim to DeKalb Urgent Care

#wqeb973newz | Chamblee,GA-🚨 A chaotic series of events unfolded Wednesday evening in Chamblee after a driver transporting a shooting victim to an urgent care center crashed into multiple vehicles.

According to police, officers responded to Piedmont Urgent Care on Peachtree Boulevard after reports of a person suffering from a gunshot wound. Investigators say the driver was attempting to get the victim medical help when they collided with other vehicles while turning into the facility’s parking lot.

Witnesses told authorities the vehicle first struck one car before crashing into another as the driver continued toward the urgent care center.

Police say the victim’s condition has not been released, and investigators currently believe the gunshot wound may have been self-inflicted.

One driver involved in the crash said she was more concerned about the victim’s well-being than the damage to her vehicle, emphasizing that lives are more important than material possessions.

The shooting and crash remain under investigation.
