Atlanta Artist Leaves His Mark With Downtown Waffle House Mural
#wqeb973newz | Atlanta,GA-🎨🏆 Atlanta’s culture is taking center stage ahead of the World Cup!
A new mural on the back of the Waffle House near Centennial Olympic Park is turning heads—and it’s packed with Atlanta pride. Created by local artist Nick “Turbo” Benson, the artwork features hometown legends André 3000 and Big Boi, along with personal touches inspired by Benson’s own childhood.
The mural is one of 16 public art installations commissioned by Downtown Atlanta Inc. to welcome FIFA World Cup visitors and celebrate the city’s rich culture. The murals are expected to remain on display for the next five years.
