DeKalb Students Hit the Road With Georgia’s First Student-Run Food Truck Program

#wqeb973newz | Stone Mountain,GA-🚚🍽️ From the classroom to the food truck, DeKalb County students are turning their culinary skills into real-world business experience.

The new “Rolling Flavors of DeKalb” initiative is Georgia’s first student-run food truck program, giving students hands-on training in cooking, marketing, entrepreneurship, and customer service. During its inaugural year, 12 schools across the district will take part in the program.

Students are already serving up creative dishes like Thai pasta, blueberry barbecue meatballs, and Cajun salmon while preparing to take the food truck on the road and raise funds for their schools.

👏 A recipe for success that blends education, innovation, and opportunity.
