Severe Storms Move Out of Atlanta Area After Early Morning Thunderstorm and Tornado Warnings

#wqeb973newz | Atlanta,GA-⛈️ Stormy weather moved through metro Atlanta early Thursday morning, triggering several Severe Thunderstorm Warnings across the region.

The strongest storms passed through between 4–6 a.m., impacting areas from south Fulton to Peachtree City and Griffin. Tornado warnings were also issued in parts of southwest and central Georgia, including Macon, Warner Robins, and Milledgeville.

By mid-morning, the National Weather Service said the severe weather threat for north and central Georgia had ended.

Some school districts, including Meriwether, Troup and Rockdale, delayed classes by two hours due to the storms.
