Solar Panel Production Resumes at Bartow County Factory as Qcells Brings Back Furloughed Workers

Qcells announced it has returned to normal production after supply chain issues forced the company to cut hours and furlough workers at its facilities in Cartersville and Dalton.

The company says the customs clearance problems that disrupted supply have now been resolved, allowing suspended employees to return to work. By the end of 2026, Qcells expects its two Georgia facilities to employ nearly 4,000 workers as it continues expanding its U.S. solar manufacturing footprint.
