Morris Brown College Receives $810K to Boost Scholarships, Security, and Endowment

#wqeb973newz | Atlanta,GA-🎓💰 Big support is coming to Morris Brown College! The HBCU announced it has received $810,000 in donations to fund scholarships, campus safety, and its endowment. Grammy-winning rapper TI donated $50,000, the Sixth District of the AME Church gave $60,000, and the college received a $700,000 grant presented by Georgia Rep. Nikema Williams.

🏫⚡ The funding comes after the college was targeted by threats last year and will help strengthen emergency response, safety communications, and additional security personnel. Meanwhile, Dr. Kevin James was reinstated as president following last week’s abrupt termination.
