Home Depot Announces Corporate Layoffs as Return-to-Office Policy Takes Effect
#wqeb973newz | Atlanta,GA-🏢⚠️ Metro Atlanta–based Home Depot has announced it is laying off hundreds of corporate workers as part of changes to its support center operations. The company confirmed that 800 corporate roles are being eliminated, affecting both in-office and remote employees.
🛠️📉 According to Home Depot, fewer than 150 of the impacted positions are based in metro Atlanta, while the majority of the eliminated roles were remote. In addition to the layoffs, all remaining corporate staff will be required to return to the Cobb County office five days a week.
💼🤝 The company said affected employees will stop working immediately, with official termination dates set for March 31. Home Depot says it is offering separation packages, transitional benefits, and job placement support to those impacted. The layoffs come as other major metro Atlanta companies also announce workforce reductions.
