Buddhist monks walking more than 2,300 miles from Texas to Washington, D.C. arrived in west Georgia this weekend as part of their Walk for Peace. Hundreds of supporters lined the roads in Troup County to welcome the monks, who are spreading a message of peace, kindness and compassion during their 120-day journey.
