Surveillance video shows a gun falling from a customer’s pocket and discharging inside El Jinete along Centerville Highway, sending diners scrambling for cover. Witnesses say the man ran out of the restaurant before police arrived.

No one was hurt, but police later arrested Curtis Scott, 52, charging him with reckless conduct and tampering with evidence, according to Gwinnett County Police Department. Officers say the incident highlights the responsibility of safely securing firearms in public.
