Hundreds of cars filled Tara Stadium as Clayton County Schools teamed up with community partners to distribute food to more than 600 families ahead of the winter break.

With many students relying on school meals, the district’s annual holiday giveaway ensures kids don’t go hungry while classes are out. Volunteers also plan to assemble care packages for 400 students living in local hotels.
