Wrong-Way DUI Driver Accused of Killing Man on I-85 Peach Pass Lane, Gwinnett Police Say
wqeb973newz | Norcross, GA-A deadly wrong-way crash on I-85’s Peach Pass lane has left a Gwinnett County family grieving 💔🚨
Police say 56-year-old James Taylor was killed Thanksgiving weekend when a driver going the wrong direction slammed into his car head-on. Investigators say the suspect, 38-year-old Sade Robinson, had a blood alcohol level more than three times the legal limit and became combative during her arrest.
Robinson is now facing multiple charges, including first-degree homicide by vehicle and DUI. The crash happened just weeks after a Gwinnett police lieutenant was hit by another suspected drunk driver at the same location.
Officials urge drivers to choose safe alternatives and stop impaired driving before more lives are lost.
