GDOT Announces Weeklong Lane Closures on GA-400 for Express Lanes Work

#wqeb973newz | Atlanta, GA-Heads up, Georgia drivers 🚧🚗 GDOT says overnight lane closures are coming to GA-400 from Dec. 1–5 as crews continue work on the Express Lanes expansion. The closures will impact both northbound and southbound lanes along a 16-mile stretch between North Springs Station in Fulton County and north of McFarland Parkway in Forsyth County.Drivers can expect single and double lane closures from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., plus some daytime work from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., weather permitting. Shoulder closures will also take place in several sections of the corridor.Officials warn that delays are likely and urge motorists to slow down, stay alert, and check Georgia 511 for real-time updates before heading out.
