MARTA Announces New Round of Breeze Upgrades, Impacting Stations Across Atlanta

#wqeb973newz | Atlanta,GA -🚇✨ MARTA’s Breeze upgrade is moving into its next phase — and riders across metro Atlanta will see new detours and faregate closures starting next week.

New “Better Breeze” equipment is now being installed at more stations, with modernized faregates and ticket machines rolling out systemwide through spring 2026.

MARTA is urging riders to watch for signs and announcements at each station, as some gates may be closed for construction while new equipment remains inactive.

Stations with active detours include West End, North Springs, Kensington, Doraville, Indian Creek, Dunwoody, East Point, Lindbergh Center, Ashby, and Georgia State. Riders should allow extra time and follow posted directions to navigate alternate entrances.
