The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office has received a $37K H.E.A.T. grant from the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety to combat impaired, distracted, and aggressive driving. The funding will help deputies boost patrols, launch safety campaigns like “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” and “Click It or Ticket,” and educate the community on traffic safety.
👉 Sheriff Tim Pounds says the grant will help “keep our roadways safe and save lives.”
