Douglasville Opens New Recycling Center to Restore Services and Promote a Greener Future
#wqeb973newz | Douglasville ,GA -♻️ Douglasville Goes Green! 🌿 The City of Douglasville has officially opened its brand-new recycling center at 8145A Cedar Mountain Road — giving residents a convenient, year-round location to drop off cardboard, plastics, aluminum cans, and glass bottles. 🏙️✨
The center, operated by the City of Douglasville with support from Keep Douglasville Beautiful, features drive-through lanes, on-site attendants, and educational signage to help residents sort materials properly and cut down on contamination.
Mayor Rochelle Robinson called the opening a “long-term investment” in the community’s quality of life, adding that the center helps restore recycling services that were paused during the pandemic. ♻️💪
Open Tuesday through Saturday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., the new facility is available to both residents and non-residents — helping keep Douglasville clean, green, and beautiful for generations to come. 🌎💚
