Microsoft Donates 22 Acres in Atlanta’s Grove Park to Support Affordable Housing and Community Growth
#wqeb973newz | Atlanta,GA -The tech giant announced it will donate more than 22 acres of land in the Grove Park neighborhood to support affordable housing and community development — part of the company’s original promise to set aside a portion of its Quarry Yards property for local use.
The donation, expected to be finalized in Summer 2026, will help connect residents to key resources like KIPP Woodson Academy and the Grove Park Recreation Center, supporting Mayor Andre Dickens’ goal to create or preserve 20,000 affordable housing units by 2029. 🏡✨
