North and central Georgia are getting a break from the heat this week thanks to a passing cold front. Skies will stay mostly sunny and dry, with breezy winds up to 20 mph making it feel even cooler. Highs will hover in the upper 70s to low 80s, while overnight lows dip into the upper 50s and low 60s — several degrees below average for this time of year.

The cool, crisp air won’t last forever though! Temps will slowly climb into the mid to upper 80s by Thursday and into the weekend. Still, humidity stays low, so it should feel much more comfortable than recent weeks. 🙌
