#wqeb973newz | Atlanta , GA -Atlanta drivers, plan ahead! GDOT will be blasting rock as part of the massive I-20/I-285 interchange improvement project this week. Crews will pace traffic on I-285 between Smyrna and the Westside — anywhere from South Cobb Drive (Exit 15) to I-20 (Exit 10). The slowdowns could happen Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday between 10:30 a.m. and noon, with each pacing lasting up to 10 minutes (weather permitting). If you’re headed that way late morning, give yourself extra time or consider an alternate route to avoid the delays.
