Paulding County Student Struck by Truck, Critically Injured on Way to School

A South Paulding High School student was hit by a pickup truck while walking to school Wednesday morning on Winn Road, near Dugan Elementary. The student was rushed to Kennestone Hospital in critical condition.

Parents say the busy road needs a crossing guard to keep kids safe. 💔

The driver stayed at the scene as Georgia State Patrol investigates. Counselors are being made available at the school as the community rallies around the student and family. 🙏
