#wqeb973newz | Atlanta, GA – 🌿 Clayton County Police Chief Kevin Roberts is pushing for a new ordinance to decriminalize possession of less than an ounce of marijuana. 🚫⚖️ Instead of jail time, offenders would face a $150 civil fine and be redirected to community resources for education and recovery. 🙌
If approved, Clayton would join Atlanta, Savannah, Augusta, and other Georgia cities in easing penalties for minor marijuana possession. 🍃
