Migos Rapper Takeoff Accused of Sexual Assault

Los Angeles, C.A, – né Kirshnik Khari Ball, also known as Takeoff (member of the hip hop / trap music trio Migos)  is being sued by a woman who accused him of sexual assaulting her back at a L.A. house function in June. According to Page Six, “The “victim” named Jane Doe claims the rap legend made her extremely uncomfortable at the party, and even offered her weed prior to any altercation.”

Things took a turn later that evening when Jane Doe passed Takeoff in a hallway while she was headed towards one of the bedrooms with another suitor (Migos DJ Daryl “Durel” McPherson) . In passing, McPherson told Jane Doe to proceed to the bedroom and wait for his return he’ll handle Takeoff. Moments later, Jane Doe claims it was Takeoff who returned to the bedroom and not McPherson. In a statement to PageSix, “Takeoff came into the bedroom and proceeded to forcibly touch Jane Doe and rape her, as the hospital report show signs of bodily bruises.”

Takeoff and his representatives maintain that he is innocent. In a statement provided by VLADTV, “Takeoff’s attorney Drew Finding told  TMZ, “What has become abundantly clear is that the allegations made against Takeoff are patently and provable false.” The claims and statements made regarding this lawsuit indicate that the plaintiffs representatives have not spoken with relevant witnesses or reviewed available evidence.” Takeoff’s lawyer also believes that his celebrity status is the culprit in this case.

Despite Takeoff’s legal representation denying all claims of the Migos rappers part in being accused of sexual assault at a Los Angeles house party thrown by the Migos Disc Jockey, several details have emerged. According to Vibe, ” The active Los Angeles lawsuit notes that the accuser of Takeoff, sought medical care at a nearby hospital the same day of the sexual assault. Hospital staff observed physical evidence of forceable rape and notified the Los Angeles Police Department of the same.”

Law enforcement sources confirm that the LAPD is investigating Takeoff for the incident, as rumors speculate that the accuser’s lawyer has lost confidence in the criminal case and is going forward with a civil lawsuit. Possible clout chase; you will take the man’s money but not make sure he can’t attack another woman?
