Westside Gazette (2004)
The newspaper covered the concept of Apparel Ism because the reporter met me while I showcased my art at the Timbuktu Marketplace exhibit. The coverage of my work was important because it was the premier Black newspaper in Fort Lauderdale; a place that I had never worked before. It opened up a new market for me, especially because the article was focused only on my work. This would later become the foundation for my seminars focusing on Apparel Ism.
