Back to the Basics Conference – RECAP Day 1

Amalgamation Mag and Urban Network Digital hosted a spectacular conference at the Crowne Plaza of San Diego from June 3rd until the 7th – filled with fun, industry tips, tricks, and secrets, and real advice from all facets of the entertainment business.

Day 1 kicked off focusing on the world of Gospel, with big names such are Tina Campbell of Mary-Mary, Adrian Anderson of Trynitee 5:7, Reality Star Myesha Chaney, Actor Mandell Frazier, and Gospel Artist Anthony Faulkner were a few of the panelists of the day.

Accompanying panelists ranged from recording artists, executive producers, reality TV stars, presidents of entertainment companies and more spilling the secrets, realities, and back-side of the music business. The conference started off with a town hall on the current state of Gospel music.

 Led by industry elite panelists, the conference created larger buzz when the Reality TV Segment ushered in.  Overall the insiders brought reality to the industry and how competitive it is to make a statement and provided tips for folks who wanted to break in and stake longevity in the business.
